Description

Uptime Kuma monitors had to be updated manually. The agent needs API/programmatic access to manage monitors (create, update, delete, query status) without touching the UI.

Scope

  • Enable Uptime Kuma API (either built-in API or the uptime-kuma-api wrapper)
  • Document credentials/access method in operational memory
  • Create/verify API token or credentials for agent access
  • Test CRUD operations on monitors via API
  • Inventory existing monitors and document in Discourse

Context

The OAM platform requires full agent control across all monitoring tools:

  • LibreNMS (SNMP-based) — working
  • Beszel (API access tracked in #406 — PocketBase auth)
  • Uptime Kuma (THIS TICKET)
  • phpIPAM (#425)
  • Dell OpenManage Enterprise (#339)

Priority: Low

Manual UI access works as a fallback. API access needed for automation at scale.
