Description

14 production VMs lack a working qemu-guest-agent, blocking agent/remote management access. Config flag enabled on 8 (400,501,515,604,708,709,712,904) but in-guest service not installed/running. 5 more have agent:1 but service down (105,108,702,707,902). Remediation per-VM: apt install qemu-guest-agent && systemctl enable --now qemu-guest-agent. Requires console login or coordinated reboot. Excluded: pfv-bms (API), tsys-umbrel (policy). Discovered during 2026-08-07 access audit (Discourse #307).
