Description

ISC DHCP failover protocol only syncs dynamic lease states, NOT static host reservations. Both servers need identical dhcpd.conf files. Deployed 2026-08-07: root SSH key from netinfra-01→02, sync script at /usr/local/bin/sync-dhcp-config.sh (checksum-based, only restarts on change), cron every 5 min. When adding reservations via Webmin on netinfra-01, config auto-propagates to netinfra-02 within 5 minutes. Verification: ssh netinfra-01-root, run sync-dhcp-config.sh manually.
