Description

Switch DNS names were renamed but LibreNMS still uses old hostnames that no longer resolve, causing SNMP polling failures for 4 devices since April 2026.

Old -> New mapping:

  • pfv-core-sw01.knel.net (dev 1) -> pfv-r5-core-01.knel.net
  • pfv-r3-mgmt.knel.net (dev 6) -> pfv-r3-tor-mgmt-01.knel.net
  • pfv-r3-stor.knel.net (dev 7) -> pfv-r3-tor-stor-01.knel.net
  • subodev-torsw01.knel.net (dev 8) -> verify (may be unchanged)

Fix: update hostname field in LibreNMS devices table (preserves device_id and all historical data). Verify SNMP polling restored.
