Parent: #307 (IT & Facilities Punch List)

Add RackRental management VLAN to the network infrastructure.

Network Topology

Cisco router (R2) → R2 switch → R1 switch (daisy chain)

Scope

  • Add VLAN 2 to Cisco router (pfv-rrinfra-rtr) — gateway IP: 10.251.2.254
  • Add VLAN 2 to R1 top-of-rack switch
  • Add VLAN 2 to R2 top-of-rack switch (menu-driven interface — may need manual config by user)
  • Confirm RackRental mgmt subnet is 10.251.2.0/24

Notes

  • R2 switch has a menu-driven interface (not CLI) — user will likely need to configure manually
  • Blocked by #431 (Cisco router fan failure — console flooded, cannot configure until fan replaced)
