Background¶

NUT is deployed on pfv-tsys1 ( APC UPS via usbhid-ups). Tripp Lite UPS on pfv-tsys4 needs physical reseat (#372). UPS data should flow to:

1. Home Assistant — NAS NUT integration for sensor data (battery %, runtime, line voltage, load)
2. LibreNMS — SNMP or check for UPS monitoring (NUT exposes data via upsd)
3. Pushover alerts — Notify on: power loss, battery low, UPS offline

Scope¶

• Verify NUT is running on pfv-tsys1 with APC UPS recognized
• Fix Tripp Lite UPS on pfv-tsys4 (#372 physical reseat — Friday onsite)
• Configure Home Assistant NUT integration (HA already on pfv-bms)
• Add UPS monitoring to LibreNMS (check_mk or SNMP extend)
• Configure Pushover alerts: on-battery, battery-low, comm-lost
• Test alert delivery (UAT)

Onsite work (Friday)¶

• Verify USB cable connections on both UPS units
